HOPE. For the toughest cancers
Transforming lives through research and patient care
The HOPE Fund pursues the best possible outcomes for all upper GI and HPB cancers including pancreatic, liver, stomach, biliary and oesophageal cancers.
In 2018, a group of Melbourne-based clinicians with a shared passion for transforming lives through research and patient care came together to create The HOPE Fund. What began as an initiative by hepatic, pancreatic, biliary, and upper gastrointestinal (HPB/UGI) surgeons and nurses quickly gained momentum.
Today, The HOPE Fund is more than just a charity - it is a movement. Our mission is simple: to improve patient journeys and outcomes through life-changing research, education, and patient care.
Each day, we work to give patients with these devastating cancers more than just hope. We are dedicated to providing the best possible care and outcomes through relentless innovation in research, surgery, and clinical practice.
Despite having some of the lowest survival rates out of all the major cancers, upper GI and HPB remain underfunded and often overlooked. There remains an urgent need for research to improve treatments. Please give generously or contact us today to learn more about ongoing sponsorship.
